President's Message
Sisters and Brothers:
It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. The officers and executive of Local 37 would like to wish you and your families the very best for the holiday season and the coming New Year. Safe travels, and please remember don’t drink and drive.
New Collective Agreement:
The agreement and the 2012 wage rates can be viewed on our website. A limited number of copies have been printed and are available at the union office. Final copies will be printed when the J.E. is completed, with updates to schedules A and B.
Job Evaluation:
We have two J.E. experts from CUPE National reviewing the information the city has provided. The city is working on the last piece of phase two. Phase three will be the Letter of Understanding for the membership to vote on. Then the appeals process will begin.
Your Union continues to work on several grievances and arbitrations. Remember that there is no question or concern too small; don’t hesitate to contact the local.
